The Embassy of Ireland is delighted to invite you to an evening with internationally bestselling author John Connolly. Guests will have the opportunity to hear from Connolly on the new thrilling installment of the popular Charlie Parker series, A Book of Bones. This will be followed by a Q&A session and a book signing.

Dublin-born John Connolly earned a BA in English from Trinity College and an MA in Journalism from Dublin City University. He published his first novel, Every Dead Thing, in 1999, introducing the world to his most well-known character: private eye Charlie Parker. Since then, Charlie's story has developed over the course of almost 20 volumes, and Connolly has also produced numerous other novels and short stories. Among those are The Chronicles of the Invaders, a series for young adults that he co-wrote with his partner, Jennifer Ridyard. Connolly is the winner of numerous literary prizes, including the Edgar, Shamus and Anthony awards, and a CWA Dagger.
